The ERMIS project was highlighted during the International Workshop on Cybersecurity and Privacy Risk Assessments, part of ARES 2025, held in Ghent on 12 August 2025. During a keynote titled “Bridging Simulation and Reality: Integrating Cyber Ranges with Security Assessments for Proactive Defense”, insights were shared on the evolving landscape of cyber ranges, risk management, and the importance of the human factor in cybersecurity training. The session also showcased how ERMIS and related initiatives apply these principles to develop more effective and realistic approaches to cybersecurity assurance, risk assessment, and cyber insurance.
